Accelerate is set in futuristic L.A. where the gangs have become tribes in the massive urban sprawl. A young tribal leader named Marne, receives a fax from her dead lover, Cutter. He warns her that a “Black Network” has infiltrated the LAPD and is killing all the tribal leaders – she is next on the hit-list and must escape before they find her. Marne’s small tribe discovers a secret world that can only be accessed by a drug called ‘Accelerate’ where a hidden society called The Flash Tribe thrives. With the Black Network closing in they offer to help Marne escape her certain fate and upload into cyberspace to reunite with Cutter, but when Marne realizes she will have to sacrifice her unborn child, she chooses to ‘Accelerate’ and take on the Black Network to save the L.A. tribes!
